Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental principles, domains, practices, and issues faced by healthcare organizations and overall healthcare system with a focus on U.S. healthcare system. Different types of healthcare delivery, financing, reimbursement, management and relevant issues and challenges will be discussed. Holding a system approach, core competencies and shared concerns such as cost, access to care, quality, and health technology will be discussed in the context of different primary, ambulatory, outpatient, and inpatient care settings.
