This course is designed to provide an overview of critical issues for students with disabilities in secondary school settings and the process of transitioning to post-secondary education, employment, and community involvement. Course content focuses on the application of secondary curriculum for students with disabilities, strategies for successful school experiences, and transition planning related to independent living, post-secondary education, and employment.
