Catalog description

This course is designed to be taken by special education majors or minors in special education. Course content covers the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to assist students with low incidence disabilities in making meaningful progress in the general education curriculum in inclusive classrooms. Individualized assessment and instructional design for this population of students will be the foundation for the course as candidates apply the evidence-based practices for teaching functional curriculum.
