Teaching Secondary Social Studies

Catalog description

This is a competency-based course for social studies teacher candidates that develops knowledge of social studies curricula and methods through inquiry; provides media and technological experiences; and expands questioning, planning, and evaluation skills. Application of content and pedagogy learned in class will occur in secondary classrooms (grades 7-12).
