Health, Illness, and Social Policy

Catalog description

This course considers the direct impacts of various social and economic policies on the health of individuals. Although emphasis will be placed on national-level policy in the United States, this course will also examine the relationship between policy and health in other nations and within regions and neighborhoods within the United States. International-, National-, Regional-, and or local-level data analyses are possible.
