Multicultural Psychology

Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to develop your awareness, knowledge, understanding, and skills in evidence-based practices to better serve diverse populations (e.g., age, (dis)ability, religion/spiritual beliefs, ethnicity, social status/class, sexual orientation, indigenous heritage, national origin, and gender). We will use the American Psychological Association?s Layered Ecological Model of the Multicultural Guidelines to guide the objectives for this course.
