Catalog description
This course will focus on the study of the origins and developmental course of violent and aggressive behavior in children and adolescents. This course investigates how instinctual, developmental, biological, situational, psychopharmacological, social, and personality factors differentially contribute to the development and manifestation of aggressive behavior in children. An emphasis will be placed on examining multiple and converging systems. Research evidencing assessment and treatment validity for a specific causes are systematically examined.
