Catalog description

Independent Study and Research is structured to provide the student with an opportunity to pursue a meaningful academic experience beyond the required course work and specific thesis dissertation research of the graduate degree program. The course requires that the student demonstrate the capacity to analyze, judge, and discriminate in the solution of a scientific problem.
