1 section
Catalog description
Biologics such as nucleic acids and proteins represent the next generation drug molecules with several advantages including the ability to target specific disease processes and reduce off target effects. However, their delivery to target organs remains a challenge owing to their physicochemical properties. This course will discuss engineering approaches for the delivery of biologics with a focus on their physicochemical characteristics, behavior in biological models and factors involved in the clinical transition of engineered biologics.
