Doctor of Nursing Practice Practicum II: Evaluation

Catalog description

This course continues the DNP Leadership Residency as the DNP student works within an organization or community to complete their DNP Project. The student participates in meaningful engagement and collaborates with stakeholders, experts from nursing and other interdisciplinary professionals, and their project population. Their Faculty Mentors and Residency Preceptors provide continued guidance and support. The DNP student will complete their DNP project and data analysis for dissemination of nursing knowledge related to the improvement of health care outcomes to the University and their organizations. This practicum experience provides each DNP student with opportunities to develop and enhance their leadership skills. Students also explore their achievement of each Advanced level nursing education competencies and reflect on their impact to their professional role and complete all requirements for graduation in their student DNP Portfolio.
