This approach will enhance the APNs ability to evaluate if the desired outcomes related to care and treatment are attained. The etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations of major disease processes in all body systems will be presented within the framework of the Synergy Model. The interaction between genetics, environment, behavior, culture, and patient specific risk factors will be explored in major pathophysiological conditions throughout the lifespan.
