Catalog description

This course examines contemporary challenges and issues in teaching within a practice discipline and provides a comprehensive exploration of nursing education in today?s complex academic and healthcare environments. Students will analyze the application of traditional educational theories alongside evolving philosophical, pedagogical, and technological perspectives. Emphasis is placed on the integration of technology through innovative pedagogies. Ethical, legal, and social challenges are critically evaluated as they relate to both academic and clinical education settings. Through engagement with innovative, evidence-based educational strategies, students will develop a working personal philosophy of education that is responsive to the demands of modern nursing practice and various educational roles.
