Pep Band

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to rehearse and perform pep band literature, creating an exciting atmosphere for university athletic events. The pep band serves as both an academic class and a service organization. The Duquesne Dukes Pep Band represents the Mary Pappert School of Music, the Duquesne University Athletics Department, as well as Duquesne University as a whole. Its exemplary local and regional performances strengthen community and regional ties and enhance University recruitment.
