Practitioner Inquiry and Research

Catalog description

This course is intended to engage participants in inquiry and research into the process of teaching and learning. Participants in the course will examine the process of research design and how to conduct research and inquiry into teaching strategies, interventions, programs, and student learning outcomes in their own settings (classroom, school, or program) using methods such as action research, self-study, lesson study, and design- based intervention research. Participants will design and complete a practitioner research project as part of the course.
