Catalog description

Candidates in this course consider developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood care and education. It includes early care and education perspectives at several different levels, since early childhood covers the age range from newborn through age 9. Standards, criteria, and guidelines developed by the National Association for the Education of Young Children are examined.
