Internship for School Counseling Program for Certified Teachers

Catalog description

This course is for students in the School Counseling Program for Certified Teachers and post-master's students seeking the Program's endorsement for school counseling certification in Pennsylvania. Students must complete at least 210 hours in an elementary setting (K-8) and 210 hours in a secondary setting (9-12). In accordance with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), students receive university supervision, and on-site supervision by a certified school counselor who has at least 3 years of experience as a school counselor.
