Counseling and Consultation Theory

Catalog description

This course provides students with the most current assessment of the constructs, principles, and techniques of major counseling theories. Emphasis will be given to mainstream individual counseling theories with some attention on family systems models. Students? application of a counseling theory or theories will be evaluated through the use of a skills-based assessment (e.g., recording, simulated demonstration, etc.).
