Catalog description

An applications laboratory that covers analytical methodologies for detecting, identifying, characterizing, and quantitating chemicals, drugs, and poisons in forensic evidence. The examination of forensic evidence will be explored for analytical analysis (both presumptive and confirmatory) for drug, toxicology, arson and explosive investigations. Proper evidence handling procedures and quality assurance and quality control techniques will be discussed. Corequisites: FORE 525, 545.
