This course explores the ethical foundations and professional duties essential to forensic practice. The course guides students through the core principles of ethical decision?making, the complexities of practitioner responsibility, and the real?world pressures that challenge integrity in forensic work. Students analyze forensic failures to understand how ethical breaches occur, how they impact the justice system, and what safeguards can prevent them. Emphasis is placed on developing sound ethical reasoning skills and maintaining integrity within forensic work. Prerequisite: FORE 101, 201, 301W, 401, 402, 410.
