Capstone Project in Finance

Catalog description

The Capstone Project in Finance (FINC 650) offers students the opportunity to pursue their career aspirations in finance. In consultation with the course instructor, students identify a real-world problem in an aspect of finance?e.g., financial strategy, fintech, financial markets, capital investment, credit analysis, structured finance, merger, acquisition and/or related topic. Students apply the methods of analysis acquired in the MSF to develop and present a recommended course of action. Prerequisites: ACCT 615, FINC 530, FINC 613 and FINC 617.
