Build reading and writing skills through integrated activities with opportunities for both intensive and extensive reading of variety of text types to improve fluency, understanding and explanation of meaning, and response through writing assignments and various projects. Writing assignments will focus on sentence structure expansion, essay development, use of the writing process, and development of self-editing skills. Learn and practice vocabulary in reading and writing.
