Catalog description

Build reading and writing skills through integrated activities with opportunities for both intensive and extensive reading of variety of text types to improve fluency, analysis of meaning, synthensis, and critical response through writing assignments and various projects. Writing assignments will focus on spontaneous writing, and formal writing/essay development which incorporates the use of citation convents; the application of the writing process; and development of self-editing skills. Learnvocabulary terminology and the contributions of vocabulary choices to text in reading and writing.
