Catalog description
Use reading strategies to understand simple, informational texts written in high-frequency everyday language, answer questions about the main information in a text, explain the meaning, make basic inferences, and develop vocabulary. Develop listening, notetaking, and communication strategies to foster understanding and information exchange about topics related to the readings and learn basic notetaking, presentation, and discussion conventions to successfully participate in brief, uncomplicated classroom interactions.
