Catalog description

The goal of this course is to provide an overview of current concepts and issues in conservation biology. The course will focus on the following topics: threats to biodiversity, life tables and reproductive strategies, population structure and metapopulation dynamics, population viability analysis, GAP analysis, maintenance of genetic diversity, habitat restoration, propagation programs, and recovery plans for imperiled species.
