Catalog description

Sustainable Product Design & Innovation provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of product innovation and design thinking methods while emphasizing sustainable practices and social impact in both established organizations and new ventures. The course explores key theories, processes, tools, and strategies for fostering innovation and launching successful products and services. Learners will examine innovative business models, with a particular focus on sustainable product innovation, product life cycle, social entrepreneurship, and aligning entrepreneurial initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through real-world case studies, hands-on exercises, and collaborative projects, learners will develop the entrepreneurial mindset needed to lead organizations that succeed in competitive markets and create meaningful, positive impacts through product design. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with skills to drive innovation that support both business growth and global sustainability objectives, preparing them for leadership roles in today?s dynamic, socially-conscious business landscape.
