Catalog description

In ENGL 705 students will apply their work as English majors to community engaged projects. Students will learn ways in which the literate activities of writing, reading, researching, teaching, and composing make meaning in the world beyond campus. Students will gain experience writing for and with real audiences. Work may include tutoring, editing, professional writing, social media marketing, curriculum development, and other projects as requested by community partners.
