World Literatures

Catalog description

This class surveys literatures produced outside of the US and the UK and which historically have not been a part of the traditional English-language literary canon. While it is a survey, the course may be organized around particular controlling themes like borders, migration, nations and nationalism, trauma, and social justice, etc.
