Equity Education Capstone

Catalog description

The Equity Education Capstone is the final course of the Equity Education Certificate program. Students, with the approval of their faculty supervisor and host site, will independently coordinate and select a community-based site, applying theory to practice to address an area of public social concern in education/society. The capstone draws upon students? prior, interdisciplinary knowledge completed in the certificate program to develop an action-oriented research project.
