Catalog description

This course aims to enhance teaching candidates? ?mathematical knowledge for teaching,? which includes their ability to perform mathematical procedures and solve mathematical problems, and also to consider the range of representations and strategies used by children in grades K-8, common errors, and how mathematical ideas are represented in mathematical tasks and curriculum. Completing the course with a grade of B or higher meets the PDE Basic Skills Math requirements for all teaching certification programs
