Secondary Capstone Experience

Catalog description

The Secondary Capstone is designed to parallel the student teaching experience. The course will meet on a weekly basis to support students as they assume the role of teacher in their placement. The course will focus on topics and issues specifically evident in full time teaching in the classroom, support for the portfolio and exit interview process, and support for the candidates in secondary education as they assume the identity of professional educator, and preparing for professional life (i.e. resumes, job search, and interviews).
