Catalog description

Basic structure of computer hardware and software, data representation, addresses, and CPU components. Assembly language programming, which includes: registers, memory variables, symbolic constants, flags, data addressing, loops, runtime stack, procedures, conditionals, and floating-point processing. Prerequisite: grade of ""C"" or better in COSC 215 or concurrent enrollment in COSC 215. *Windows machine is recommended. Mac users will need to run a Windows emulator or use the math /cs lab computers*
