Internship

Catalog description

This internship provides the student with a professional work experience in an organizational environment. It is an extension of the curriculum and provides meaningful experience related to the student?s major. Internship responsibilities must be approved in advance by the internship coordinator. The student is supervised within the work setting and also by a faculty member in the student?s major department. Internships are available to students in all liberal arts concentrations. Grading may be Pass/Fail or letter grade. Junior standing and an overall GPA of 2.5 or better; completion of at least 15 credits at Duquesne University. Required: 40 hours internship per credit hour.
