Catalog description

Recent research suggests emotional intelligence is an even more essential ingredient for effective leadership than IQ. The domains of emotional intelligence include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. The competencies within each of these domains are vital to taking control of one's life, thinking clearly, making decisions, and building trust and credibility with others. In this course, students will explore emotional intelligence as it relates to successful leadership skills and will create personal development plans to apply what they have learned to their lives.
