This course explores values and skills that allow leaders to make a constructive impact on the societies in which they live, taking into account the sociological, economic, and political forces that contribute to the complexity of our contemporary world. Organizations are part of a wider community and participate in broad cultural trends. Students will consider how we can understand and manage this complexity and lead into it with responsive insight. Students ask themselves how the skills they have developed in life and over their curricular and extra-curricular journey are preparing them to address the social challenges they see in our world. The course is writing-intensive. Lecture, Online. Writing Intensive.
