Data Analysis

Catalog description

This course will introduce students to data analysis with software such as R. Students will examine discrete and continuous distributions appropriate to analyze real-life systems and the statistics to describe and used to model such systems. Statistical tests such as hypothesis testing for one and two sample settings, and ANOVA and linear regression. Software will be featured at all steps of analysis.
