Surveying

Catalog description

Surveying introduces engineering students to surveying measurements, instrumentation (e.g., total station, automatic level), and procedures. These skills are required for site plans for projects, and to better understand and interact with Professional Surveyors (PS). We will practice with relevant instrumentation. Geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing will also be introduced.
