Students in Statistical Thermodynamics will review thermodynamics, probability and statistics, followed by learning the fundamental concepts of statistical thermodynamics, how to use partition functions to calculate thermodynamic quantities from atomic/molecular properties, and how to apply their knowledge and skills to solve new problems.
