Catalog description

Practical NMR Spectroscopy is an elective course focused on teaching students how to perform and analyze NMR experiments. The course will cover the fundamental theory behind NMR, the most common experiments including 1H, 13C, 19F, 31P and several 2D NMR techniques. The course will also include instrument time, allowing students to practice the experiments learned in lecture and apply them to solving real spectra. The goal of the course is that after completion students should be able to plan, run, and analyze a range of basic NMR experiments preparing them for research or entering the workforce.
