Catalog description
Students will continue to learn the instrumentation and more advanced techniques used in a forensic laboratory. They will detect metal residues, flammable liquids explosives, poisons and drugs using methods which include, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, IR, PXRD, and SEM. Prerequisite: CHEM 371W. Laboratory, six hours.
