General Chemistry I Lab

Catalog description

This laboratory introduces students to techniques such as gravimetric analysis, pipetting, graphing, performing titrations, and qualitative analysis within the context of the major topics discussed in General Chemistry 121. The students also learn how to record observations in a laboratory notebook and write a scientific style lab report. The lab final is in the form of a hands-on practical. Laboratory, three hours. CHEM 121 must be taken prior to or concurrent with CHEM 121L.
