Catalog description

This doctoral level course focuses on qualitative research design, and approaches to qualitative data analysis. With a specific focus toward the field of counselor education and supervision, the course content will include theoretical foundations of qualitative research design, ethical concerns, designs appropriate to qualitative research questions, types of approaches, methods of qualitative data analysis, and the value and relevance of qualitative research explicit to the field of counseling practice, counseling supervision, and counselor education.
