Catalog description

The course provides a framework for doctoral students to explore key contemporary topics faced by counselors, supervisors, educators, and counseling scholars. The course will include exploration of issues that are endemic to the profession due to historical, contextual, or political forces. This course is a true seminar where exploration, reading, reflection, and discourse will be used to form/revise individual schemas regarding professional issues both within and outside of the context of counseling and counselor education.
