Catalog description

Since Vatican II, many philosophers have contributed new ?updatings? on the principles and practical teachings of Catholicism. This course will address these reflection: both their background assumptions as well as their unique perspectives of a future of Catholicism. We will focus primarily on writings of Elizabeth Anscombe, Alasdair McIntyre, Charles Taylor, Richard Kearney, John Caputo, Cathleen Kaveny, and Jean-Luc Marion.
