Catalog description

Catholic Social Teaching or Thought (CST) is framed by the principles of human dignity, being in relationship to one another and forming a just society. Often called the ?best kept secret? in the Catholic Church, students will explore both the historical foundations of CST and its current implications with emphases on ethical and moral principles. Applied topics in ethics will include the responsible development and use of artificial intelligence (AI), the dignity of the human person, human rights, economic justice, peace, the rights of workers, the preferential option for the poor, the integrity of creation, and many others.
