Catalog description

Transport of both heat and mass plays a critical role in biological system operation. Building on our understanding of mass and energy from thermodynamics, this course will focus on understanding how to incorporate these concepts into our engineering analysis. Focus will be on biomedical systems but principles are applicable in a general way. This course is an elective in BME Prerequisite: BMED210 (Thermodynamics)
