Catalog description

This course will provide an introduction into basic analog electronics and laboratory instrumentation with medical device design in mind. This course will cover theory and application of passive and active circuit elements, such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, LEDs, and BJTs, and their implementation in biomedical instrumentation. Also included in this course are DC, Transient and AC Sinusoidal circuit analysis. Prerequisite: PHYS 212
