Catalog description

This course provides the fundamentals of programming techniques using MATLAB. The course is intended for students with little or no prior programming experience. The course will cover programming fundamentals including array creation and manipulation, data input/output, data visualization techniques, loops and functions. Students will attain skills and competency in MATLAB to use it in their coursework and/or research, and be ready to learn other languages for computing, such as Java, C++, or Python.
