Catalog description

This course will provide an overview of the current concepts and issues. Topics that will be covered include threats to biodiversity, life tables and reproductive strategies, population structure and metapopulation dynamics, population viability analysis, gap analysis, conservation genetics, habitat restoration, propagation programs, and recovery plans for imperiled species. Lecture (3hours) Pre-requisites: BIOL 111/111L, 112/112L, CHEM 121/121L, 122/122L, MATH 225 or enrollment in graduate program.
