Catalog description
This course is the study of the functional relationships and productivity of freshwater streams as they are affected by their physical, chemical, and biotic environment. The course material is presented as a combination of lecture and several weekend field sessions totaling 22.5 hours of activities outside the classroom. There is a built-in Community Engaged Learning Project that fulfills the experiential learning requirements for SoSE.
