Catalog description

A course in the fundamental mechanisms of the immune system with applications in basic research, medicine and public health. Topics include the mechanisms of induction, regulation, and expression of the cellular and humoral immune responses, immunochemistry, antigen-antibody reactions, immunogenetics, immunopathologies, and immunodeficiencies. Prerequisite: C or better in BIOL 212.
